Here’s everything you need to on the latest Tottenham injury news ahead of the Premier League clash against Burnley with Thomas Frank confirming a huge blow…
Lucas Bergvall blow – Thomas Frank admitted that Lucas Bergvall seems to have suffered a “bigger” injury than his previous minor issues. He was forced off in the Champions League triumph over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday evening. Reports have suggested he could miss several months – though Frank stated that further assessment is set to take place over the coming days to determine the extent.
Joao Palhinha boost – After missing the win over Dortmund and defeat to West Ham, Joao Palhinha is “progressing” but Frank added that it “could be tight” for him to feature at Turf Moor.
Simons, Solanke and Udogie latest – Despite only just returning and playing significant minutes against Dortmund, Dominic Solanke and Destiny Udogie “should be available” for Burnley. That also applies to Xavi Simons with the Netherlands international managing a foot issue.
Richarlison (Hamstring): Sustained an injury against Aston Villa earlier this month. Frank confirmed he will be out for several weeks, with a potential return in late February or early March.
Dejan Kulusevski (Knee): Dealing with a “complicated” knee issue. The medical team is currently testing the effectiveness of injections; a clearer return timeline is expected in early February.
Ben Davies (Ankle): Underwent surgery this week for a fractured ankle. He is expected to be out until after the March international break.
Mohammed Kudus (Quad tendon): Suffered a significant tendon injury in his quad against Sunderland. He is ruled out until at least mid-April.
Rodrigo Bentancur (Hamstring): Following surgery on a severe hamstring tear, he is expected to miss most of the remainder of the season, with a tentative return date in April or May.
James Maddison (ACL): Suffered a cruciate ligament tear during pre-season. He remains out for the entire 2025/2626 season, with the goal of returning for 2026/2027 pre-season training.
