According to RMC Sport, Kylian Mbappé (25) missed France training on Saturday ahead of their match against Canada on Sunday. The France captain’s absence from training may come as a slight scare to fans of Les Bleus with the start of UEFA EURO 2024 less than a week away.
Mbappé’s absence from training on Saturday is described as a precaution by RMC Sport. Instead of participating in collective training, the 25-year-old underwent a solo training session indoors focused on fitness away from the rest of the squad.
A growing list of injury concerns?
If the Real Madrid forward’s absence from training does turn out to be more than a precaution, Didier Deschamps could begin to be scratching his head with three players in his squad suffering from injury doubts already. According to L’Équipe, Kingsley Coman, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Adrien Rabiot are all set to miss out against Canada with their individual fitness concerns.
