Eintracht Frankfurt chief Philip Holzer insists Markus Krösche is not considering leaving despite Bayern Munich’s reported interest.
Bayern Munich have reportedly lined up Markus Krösche as a possible replacement for recently sacked board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic.
But Krösche, who holds a similar position at Eintracht Frankfurt, appears to remain fully committed to his current employer.
“Markus Krösche does not have an exit clause in his contract and is an important building block for our success in the past two years,” Eintracht Frankfurt supervisory board chairman Philip Holzer told Bild.
“We know from our talks with him that he is not considering a move and is concentrating exclusively on his work in Frankfurt.”
Krösche has previously been linked with Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea as well, and Holzer believes that shows he’s doing a good job.
“The fact that his name is being mentioned in connection with other top clubs shows that the very good work at Eintracht Frankfurt is being taken note of nationally and internationally,” the Eintracht chief said.
Krösche has a contract with Eintracht Frankfurt until 2025.
