After missing Borussia Dortmund’s last four games due to injury, Gregor Kobel is set to make his return to action against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
Speaking to Sky Germany ahead of the game, the 25-year-old goalkeeper says he’s ready to make his comeback for Edin Terzic’s side.
“I am definitely fit again. In the end you have to see what Edin does. But I’m fit and available again,” said Kobel.
With Kobel and Dortmund currently sitting one point above Bayern at the top of the table, much will be at stake on Saturday.
“I think we just have to pick up where we left off the last few weeks. We’ve played outstanding games, we’ve shown heart. We have also shown that we can get points when we are not playing so well. So we have a lot of confidence and we need a top performance this weekend, that’s for sure,” said Kobel.
