Robin Knoche will once again be absent when Union Berlin face Heidenheim in the Bundesliga this weekend.
Having missed Union’s last two games against Real Madrid and Hoffenheim, the center back isn’t ready to return.
“Dehl, Schäfer, Khedira and Knoche are injured. These four are not available,” said Union Berlin coach Urs Fischer at his pre-match press conference.
Fischer will also be without Kevin Volland, who will serve the last game of his suspension.
On the positive side for Union, Alex Kral is back in training, but it remains to be seen if he’ll be fit enough to play on Saturday.
“Král was able to train fully today. So he is at least an alternative,” said Fischer.
Fischer and Union are on a four-game losing streak in all competitions going into the Heidenheim clash.
