Ansgar Knauff, who has been on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt since January 2022, is looking increasingly likely to leave Borussia Dortmund for good this summer.

According to Bild, Knauff recently held talks with Borussia Dortmund, who did not offer him the clear perspective he was looking for.

Therefore, a return to Dortmund seems to be the clear B-solution for the 21-year-old winger.

This means that Eintracht should have a good chance of turning Knauff’s loan into a permanent move, with Bild estimating that it would cost around €5 million to do so.

Knauff has made 47 appearances for Frankfurt so far, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
