Lukas Klostermann missed RB Leipzig’s 3-0 win over Augsburg on Saturday due to an infection.
And as confirmed by Die Roten Bullen, the German defender remains unavailable for their Champions League opener against Young Boys on Tuesday evening.
With Willi Orban and Klostermann ruled out, Castello Lukeba is expected to partner Mohamad Simakan in central defense once again.
Meanwhile, Leipzig are sweating over the fitness of Christoph Baumgartner, who has played just 33 minutes since joining from Hoffenheim in the summer.
“Christoph Baumgartner will likely join up with the team this evening following individual treatment,” the club said on Monday.
