Speaking at a press conference today, Joshua Kimmich didn’t want to say too much about Julian Nagelsmann’s imminent dismissal as Bayern coach. However, he did reveal that the 35-year-old is one of the three best coaches he has ever played under.

At a press conference today, Joshua Kimmich was coy about reports that Julian Nagelsmann is facing the sack at Bayern Munich.

“I completely understand that this is a big topic at the moment. But there has been no confirmation from the club, so I can’t and won’t say much about it,” Kimmich stressed.

Later in the press conference, however, the Bayern midfielder made no secret of his admiration for Nagelsmann, describing the 35-year-old as one of the best coaches he’s ever worked with.

“I can only say that Julian Nagelsmann is an outstanding coach. I’ve had a lot of top coaches, and I’d say he’s easily in my top three,” said Kimmich.
