FC Augsburg have confirmed the signing of Keven Schlotterbeck from Freiburg.
The centre-back, who has spent the last year and a half out on loan at Bochum, has put pen to paper on a contract until 2027 with Die Fuggerstädter.
“FCA are all about courageous and passionate play, which suits my style very well,” said Schlotterbeck.
“With my experience and my ability to challenge for the ball, I want to be a leader in the team and make next season a successful one for me and my team mates.”
Augsburg sporting director Marinko Jurendic commented:
“Keven Schlotterbeck is a player with a great mindset, who has impressed us not only with his strength in the tackle, but also with his passing play and heading ability.
“Keven has also shown in the past that he can be a driving force and motivator in the team. We are delighted to strengthen our team with Keven, who is a team player with a great fighting spirit.”
