Despite all the goals he has scored in his career, critics have accused Harry Kane of not producing enough in big games.
Asked to give his opinion on this, the England captain told a press conference on Monday:
“It’s maybe a bit far off the mark, since I scored against big teams last season.
“I try to score in every game and help the team. We’ve got a big week ahead.
“Like I always do, I won’t just judge my performances on goals. If we get three wins now and I don’t score, then I’ll still be happy,” said Kane ahead of Bayern’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old has found the net 64 times in 62 matches for Bayern since joining from Tottenham last summer.
