Juventus are interested in bringing Jordi Alba to Serie A from Barcelona, report Sport.
Jordi Alba has been struggling for minutes at the Nou Camp this season as he has to compete with Marcos Alonso as well as youngster Alejandro Balde for the right-back position.
It is believed that Juventus would be keen to sign Alba on loan and would be willing to offer the Spaniard a significant salary in order to encourage him to swap Catalonia for Northern Italy.
The 33-year-old’s contract with Barcelona is valid until June 2024 and last month it was communicated that he is ready to stay at least until the end of next season.
However, Barça are currently in a poor financial position and are keen to balance the books one way or another. They may consider entering into talks with Alba over a possible salary reduction or loan deal to help improve the club’s economic standing.
