Juventus would be interested in Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz as a potential alternative to Paris Saint-Germain’s Leandro Paredes.
While the Bianconeri have been previously said to be close to signing Paredes from PSG, the move isn’t done at all by any means and the Old Lady do have alternatives in mind if the deal for the Argentine doesn’t go through.
Sky Italia claim that while Juve are talking to PSG and new contacts between the two clubs was made yesterday, the French side are coming up with issues that could hinder Juve’s move for the ex-Roma midfielder. As a result, the Bianconeri are already looking at potential alternatives and the top one is Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa.
The midfielder has been previously linked with a move to Roma as well but the Giallorossi have never come forward with a move. The Brazilian has already made three appearances for a struggling Villa side this season.
