Juventus are moving closer to reaching an agreement with Memphis Depay’s camp, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Talks between the parties are progressing well. Barcelona are still working to find a way to accommodate those players who need to leave in order to reduce the wage bill. One of the clear candidates to leave after the new signings is Depay.
Having been stripped of the number 9 jersey, which will go to Robert Lewandowski, the 28-year-old Dutch striker, who scored 13 goals last season, looks to be close to a move to Serie A. Romano suggests that it would be a two-year deal with Juventus.
The Dutch international would only consider moving to a top-tier club. He has another year left on his contract at Camp Nou.
