Randal Kolo Muani (26) only joined Juventus on loan from Paris Saint-Germain less than one month ago, however, the Serie A side have already expressed a desire to retain the France international.
An outcast at PSG this season, he has hit the ground running in Turin. In just three Serie A appearances, he already has five goals and has therefore immediately become an integral part of Thiago Motta’s set-up. In the context of this start, Juventus’ intentions are clear – they want to keep Kolo Muani beyond his six-month loan.
When negotiating with PSG, no permanent option was included in the deal. However, that will not prevent the Italian club from returning to the negotiating table come the end of the season. Speaking to Sky ahead of the UEFA Champions League play-off against PSV Eindhoven, Juve director Cristiano Giuntoli made his intentions clear.
“Our relationship with PSG is excellent. We moved early and with great determination to beat the competition,” began the Juventus director. “Our intention is to continue with him. We’ll sit down at the end of the season to see how to make it happen,” he added. Kolo Muani’s contract with PSG runs until 2028.
