Juventus are said to be edging close to sealing a move for Salernitana star Pasquale Mazzocchi this summer.
Daniele Longo has reported that the 27-year-old Italian’s move to the Bianconeri is edging closer. Juve have put forward a fee of €4 million plus their youngster Hans Nicolussi Caviglia in the move.
Mazzocchi has been highly impressive for the south coast side and in the 2022/23 season, the wing-back played 27 Serie A games and he scored two goals, while racking up four assists for the Salerno-based outfit. In the 2021/22 season, he had racked up two assists in Salernitana’s first season in Serie A.
Juve are currently discussing a renewal for Juan Cuadrado’s contract but Alex Sandro’s contract termination is being discussed by the Bianconeri. Mazzocchi, at 27, will offer them a much younger and reliable option at right wing-back than Cuadrado, with Mattia de Sciglio currently 30 and not a regular for the club.
