Juventus and Chelsea are now said to be in contact with each other regarding a move for Timo Werner.
Werner has previously been linked with a move to Juventus as well but that deal was said to have been part of the Blues’ move for Matthijs de Ligt, who has now ended up joining Bayern Munich. But recent reports have suggested that Juve see Werner and Anthony Martial as potential alternatives for Alvaro Morata.
Daniele Longo has now reported that Juve and Chelsea are now in contact for a loan move involving the German forward, who is a concrete option for the Bianconeri.
Juventus did sign Dusan Vlahovic last summer but they are looking for a back-up striker option and Alvaro Morata is their priority. But Atletico Madrid have, so far, rejected Juve’s attempts to sign the Spaniard on a permanent basis. But it is expected that the Bianconeri will make another attempt.
