According to Fabrizio Romano, Julián Álvarez (24) is contemplating his future at Manchester City this summer due to frustrations of his lack of playing time for the Premier League champions. The Argentina international forward wants to be a regular starter and he may have to leave Manchester to get it.
One club who could potentially provide him that playing time is Paris Saint-Germain. As reported by Romano, PSG have enquired about the former River Plate attacker as they look to bolster their attacking options. Les Parisiens are in the market for attacking options following Kylian Mbappé’s departure to Real Madrid.
City not interested in selling
Despite interest from the Ligue 1 champions, Manchester City are not interested in selling Álvarez, according to Fabrizio Romano. The 24-year-old is seen as an important part of Pep Guardiola’s squad and City do not want to lose him either on a permanent or loan move. The World Cup winner scored 11 goals for the Cityzens last season.
