Jude Bellingham has been in scintillating form since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund during the summer. In 12 matches in all competitions, he has scored 11 goals, the latest of which being the winner in the victory over Braga in the Champions League on Tuesday.
However, Bellingham did not play the full match after he was substituted for Lucas Vazquez late on. He was moving gingerly when taking his leave, with MD saying that he was holding his groin before taking his place in the Real Madrid dugout. As such, this has sparked fears of his availability against Barcelona on Saturday.
Bellingham would be a huge miss for Real Madrid if he were to be absent for El Clasico, so Real Madrid and head coach Carlo Ancelotti will be praying that the issue is nothing serious, and that he is able to train in the build-up to the weekend.
It was not the only issue that Real Madrid had to deal with on Tuesday. Joselu Mato missed the match against Braga after falling ill just before kick off, while Antonio Rudiger looked to have suffered bad cramp at the final whistle.
