Lille’s Jonathan David’s entourage have landed in Naples to talk with Napoli over a potential move.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Jonathan David’s agents are in Naples to explore a possible move for the player to Napoli this summer.
The Canadian striker’s contract with Lille expires in June and there are a number of clubs in the race to land his signature after a tremendous season with the French outfits. Napoli are leading the race as of now as David’s entourage seeks to table their demands for the player’s salary and commissions.
There is no question of a transfer fee but the striker’s agent’s demands for a high commission fee and salary for the player is forcing Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis to sit down and negotiate.
Sporting director Giovanni Manna played a key role for Napoli in bringing these negotiations to this stage and a final result is awaited soon from the Serie A league leaders.
