According to Sky Germany, Liverpool are interested in Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Jesper Lindstrøm. The 23-year-old is moving towards leaving the Bundesliga in the summer.
Liverpool will likely have to fight Arsenal for the signature of Lindstrøm with both teams having already made contact with Frankfurt over a move in the summer. Frankurt themselves are also open to allowing Lindstrøm to leave in the summer, Frankfurt would like around €50m but the price tag is more likely to be around €35-40m.
Lindstrøm’s current contract at Frankfurt expires in 2026 having joined from Brøndby in Denmark in 2021 for €7m.
The 23-year-old is currently out with an ankle ligament injury sustained in training, however, since the World Cup he has not reached the same form as he did earlier in the season. Since January, he has only scored once and assisted twice against relegation candidates Schalke and Hertha Berlin.
Frankfurt are expected to rebuild their squad in the summer with the departures of Daichi Kamada and Evan Ndicka and possible departures of Lindstrøm and even Randal Kolo Muani.
