Didier Digard was the second-longest-serving manager currently in Ligue 1. However, whilst the news has yet to be officialised, he is indeed heading towards the exit, as per a report from L’Équipe.
He won’t be the only casualty of Le Havre AC’s poor start to the season. Le HAC are currently rock bottom with just two points from their first nine games. Digard will pay the price, as will the Normand club’s president, Jean-Michel Roussier, L’Équipe understands.
Roussier, who over the course of his career has also had stints as president of Olympique de Marseille and Nancy, took the reins at Le Havre in 2022. His arrival has coincided with a good period for the Normand club, who were immediately promoted from Ligue 2 and have succeeded in remaining in France’s top flight ever since.
Digard has already left the club and Roussier could soon follow in a big shake-up at the Blue Crow-owned club.
