kicker reports that Borussia Dortmund have decided that they will look to sell winger Jamie Gittens, the winger has also previously decided to leave the club.
The 20-year-old is seen as the primary candidate to leave the club this summer as there is a market for him, with Chelsea and Arsenal previously linked to Gittens. The Conference League champions could begin working on a deal for Gittens, as there is now space in their squad following the departure of Jadon Sancho.
The sale of the winger would also bring in money, said to be around a mid-double-digit million fee, that Dortmund can use elsewhere, such as further strengthening the squad after the arrival of Jobe Bellingham.
Gittens started the season off strongly and was one of the bright sparks in a poor Dortmund side under Nuri Sahin. However, after the appointment of Niko Kovac as head coach, Gittens has struggled not only to impact a game, but also hold a place in the starting 11 as Kovac has opted for others such as Karim Adeyemi.
