Internet sensation Jake Paul, a master of viral content, likely produced one of the most impactful moments of his varied career on Friday, the 19th of December, when he lasted six rounds against the former two-time heavyweight world boxing champion Anthony Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. The event aired on Netflix.
It wasn’t just the performance, though, which has already polarized opinion, but his conduct in the post-fight interview in which he could be seen on video spitting blood after his brutal knockout loss.
Following the official announcement of his loss, he made no secret of the injuries sustained during his David vs Goliath bout. Only this time, it was the Goliath who won.
He told Ariel Helwani after the official announcement of his loss:
“I think my jaw is broken.”
