Jake Paul Names 6 boxers he Wants to Fight Should he Beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

On the 28th of June, Jake Paul will make his return to the ring for the first time since he fought heavyweight boxing icon Mike Tyson last November. ‘The Problem Child’ will face yet another iconic name of the boxing world, this time, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, who is, of course, the son of Julio Cesar Chavez. Although fans are once again disappointed that Paul is facing an ageing opponent who has been somewhat inactive in the last few years, Chavez Jr is a legitimate test and a former WBC middleweight champion.

Although Paul is less than a month out from his fight against Chavez Jr, instead of focusing on the task at hand, the 28-year-old seems to have other opponents on his mind whom he could face if he is victorious on the 28th of June. During a recently released video on the Most Valuable Promotions YouTube channel, Paul named a hit list of fighters he wants to take out following his fight against Chavez Jr.

Gervonta 'Tank' Davis in action

Prior to announcing that Julio Cesar Chavez Jr was going to be his next opponent, Jake Paul was in deep and serious negotiations to face WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis. Although there is a huge weight and size difference between the two men, Paul has insisted on several occasions that if he were to book a fight against Davis, he would be willing to cut down to the lowest weight of his career to make up for it.

During a recent interview, Paul revealed that Davis was almost pencilled in as his next opponent, but the WBA lightweight champion instead opted to rematch Lamont Roach Jr. Although both men now have fights lined up against separate opponents, ‘The Problem Child’ still believes there is a chance the fight takes place this year, with November being a possibility.

Anthony Joshua

Professional boxing record: 28-4

Anthony Joshua

Although Anthony Joshua was backed by many boxing fans just nine months ago to once again reach the very top of boxing’s heavyweight division once again, there seems to be a real possibility that within the next year to 18 months he is sharing the ring with Jake Paul. Earlier this year, Paul claimed that he would defeat Joshua, and although he says that about a lot of high-level professional boxers who are competing for world titles, they rarely give a serious response, however, ‘AJ’ immediately contacted his promoter, Eddie Hearn and demanded he set the fight up.

Given the fact that Joshua is reportedly on the verge of signing a multi-fight deal with Riyadh Season, a fight in the immediate future seems unlikely, but both men are keen to make it happen at some point in 2026.

KSI

Professional boxing record: 4-1-1 (NC)

KSI celebrates with his belts after defeating Swarmz and Pineda

Ever since the influencer boxing scene started back in 2019, Jake Paul and KSI have been wanting to fight each other, but it is still yet to happen. Although when both Paul and KSI began their ventures into boxing, they were around the same weights, the weight is now the biggest issue and stumbling block around why the fight is taking so long to be made. Since then, Paul has put on a significant amount of size and weight, whereas KSI has stayed around the same, if not just slightly bigger than where he started.

Although Paul has faced significantly better competition than KSI and, on the eye, looks a much better boxer, the fight is in huge demand and no doubt could sell out stadiums all around the world and bring in huge amounts of money.

Tommy Fury

Professional boxing record: 11-0

Tommy Fury

Jake Paul’s only loss in professional boxing is to Tommy Fury, and it still bothers him to this day, despite the fight taking place over two years ago. Although when the fight happened Fury had a significant experience advantage over Paul and was a heavy favourite coming into the bout, the fight itself was actually very competitive and it was a close one, with both quite a few boxing fans and Paul himself thinking he won.

Fury fought for the first time in over 18 months, just a matter of weeks ago, against Kenan Hanjalic and called Paul out following his victory, so a rematch is clearly something which both men want, and it could very realistically happen next for both of them.

Ryan Garcia

Professional boxing record: 24-2-1 (NC)

Ryan Garcia Weighs In

As well as Gervonta Davis and Anthony Joshua, another high-level, active former world champion Jake Paul is looking to fight is Ryan Garcia. Going into his most recent fight against Rolly Romero, Garcia was questioned several times by the media about a potential fight against ‘The Problem Child,’ and he is very open to it, and even said, “We are going to make a bunch of money.”

Just like a potential fight against Davis, Paul would have a significant size and weight advantage, however, that is something which Garcia has already said wouldn’t be a concern for him.

Badou Jack

Professional boxing record: 29-3-3

Badou Jack

While there hasn’t been much publicly said about a potential rivalry between Jake Paul and Badou Jack, Paul has regularly brought up Jack’s name when asked about who he would like to fight in the last few years. Jack is a former WBC super-middleweight and cruiserweight champion, and last fought on the 3rd of May against Noel Mikaelian, where he retained his WBC cruiserweight title.

Jack holding the WBC cruiserweight title is probably the main reason why Paul wants to fight him, as he has made it clear over the last few years that becoming a world champion is one of his top priorities.
