Italy boss Roberto Mancini has left the National Team with immediate effect, with FIGC pondering options.
FIGC have confirmed that Mancini has left the National Team, in what was a short statement which also revealed that a replacement will be announced soon enough.
Sky Italia state that two potential candidates for the role are Daniele de Rossi and Fabio Cannavaro, but a decision has not been made by FIGC so far.
The Italian Football association revealed that Mancini had communicated the decision to them yesterday evening and there was talk of Mancini being linked with other roles. Considering that, the statement isn’t a huge surprise.
Mancini’s stint with the Azzurri saw them win the Euros in 2021 and they reached the Nations League semi-finals this year.
