Serie A giants Inter have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for the signature of goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Inter have been speaking to the Bavarians for the Swiss goalkeeper but La Gazzetta dello Sport state that despite several disappointments, Inter didn’t give up on the player.
And after a long period of time, an agreement has arrived. Sommer will be Inter’s first choice goalkeeper next season and the move will be finalised next week, with Inter agreeing to sign the player for less than the release clause. Last few steps could be carried out in Milan itself, whenever the player arrives in the city.
The goalkeeper will essentially replace Andre Onana with the veteran, who starred at the Euros in 2021 with Switzerland.
