Inter owner Steven Zhang has flown into Milan today and he is scheduled to hold talks with Chelsea for the loan move involving Romelu Lukaku.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have stated that Zhang arrived at the Inter headquarters at 15:30 earlier today and this was followed by the agents of Kristjan Asllani arriving at the headquarters to potentially conclude the deal for the midfielder. As for the Lukaku, a meeting could take place between today and tomorrow.
Inter will respond to Chelsea’s demands during the meeting, with the Blues asking for €25 million for the loan fee but Inter’s offer standing at €5 million. There is belief that an agreement can be found at €10 million plus performance-based bonuses. During the meeting, Chelsea could lower their bar to find an agreement. Other negotiations will also take place but the Lukaku deal will remain at the forefront and an agreement could be reached soon.
