Inter now confident about signing Moussa Diaby

Serie A league leaders Inter have faced difficulty in landing Moussa Diaby but are now growing in confidence about landing the attacker.

In their previous offer, the Nerazzurri had faced resistence from Al Ittihad, who weren’t happy with the terms on offer. Despite that, Diaby was pushing for a return to Europe and was keen on a move to Inter.

Gianluca di Marzio reports that Cristian Chivu’s side are making a last minute move. They have now offered an initial loan with a conditional obligation to buy Diaby in the summer and there is confidence that a deal will go through.

Al Ittihad are expected to respond in the next few hours but a deal can now go through. Inter aren’t willing to offer more than €28 million as part of the deal but are now offering some guarantees to the Middle East side, who were looking for quite the same when the first bid was rejected.
