Inter are nearing a January move for Club Brugge star Tajon Buchanan.
The Nerazzurri are looking to sign a potential replacement for Juan Cuadrado, who has picked up an injury and could be out for the next few months.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FCInter1908) have reported that the Canada international is approaching a move to the San Siro in January, as new contacts took place between the two clubs yesterday and that brought about a breakthrough in negotiations.
Talks remain ongoing and they are progressing quickly, with the player not having called up to Club Brugge’s next game. While those in Belgium believe that it is related to physical issues, it is also related to the negotiations with the Nerazzurri.
Buchanan remains Inter’s priority for the January transfer window, as they look to shore up the wing-back roles. The 24-year-old has scored two goals, picking up assists in the league so far.
