Former Serie A champions Inter have now made an offer for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.
Earlier today, it was stated that Pavard is one of the names on Inter’s shortlist of defenders but a move was complicated because of the finances involved in the deal.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that the Nerazzurri have put forward €25 million to sign the Frenchman from Bayern Munich, with Manchester United also linked with a move for the player but Harry Maguire’s stay means that they would not be able to sign another defender.
As things stand, Inter want a little over €30 million for their defender, who wants to leave the club. Talks between Inter and Bayern are ongoing to potentially find an agreement over a move. Based on how the talks go, it will be determined whether Inter can actually seal a deal or not and that is yet to be ascertained.
