Inter have made their first loan offer for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the recent contacts between Inter and Chelsea led to a positive outcome, with the striker having already made his decision clear to join Inter this summer.
As things stand, it is stated that Inter have never been this close to re-signing Lukaku as signs have been quite positive. Inter’s first offer was at €5 million for the loan deal but Chelsea pegged it back as they want a higher fee but signs are positive. Chelsea have not made a counter demand for how much they want for the striker and both parties will meet again. It is stated that a deal is edging closer.
There is a feeling that Chelsea could ask for €15 million but the deal could end at about €10 million. In the next meeting, parties could reach an agreement and it will not be a long negotiation anymore.
