Inter have now held a positive meeting for the potential signing of Cagliari’s Raoul Bellanova.
The Nerazzurri met with the agents of Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso last week but they are not stopping their work in the market. They have now held a positive meeting with both Bellanova’s agents and Cagliari, reports Gianluca di Marzio.
It is stated that Bellanova is at the top of Inter’s shortlist to replace the departed Ivan Perisic. The meeting took place at a well-known hotel in the centre of Milan and in that, Inter were represented by Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin. Cagliari sporting director Stefano Capozucca and the player’s agent were also present for the talks.
The Sardinian side have already signed him permanently from Bordeaux in May and negotiations are now on for his sale this summer.
He was on loan at Cagliari last season and impressed many, also attracting attention from Juventus, who are also looking at full-backs.
