In interviews with German broadcasters, FCB head-coach Julian Nagelsmann expressed a profound displeasure with the performance of match-official Daniel Schlager during Saturday evening’s encounter with Gladbach.
The FCB trainer went into further detail during an English language broadcast with ESPN correspondent Archie Rhind-Tutt.
Nagelsmann, who was booked for dissent late in the match along with both Sané and Kramer, said that he felt Schlager had decided “every 50-50” in favor of Gladbach and called Schalger’s performance “horrible”. The 35-year-old trainer concluded the interview with a mixed English-German sentence, “Now I get wahrscheinlich strafen (probably a fine).”
