Jamal Musiala continued his rehab on the pitch today, with BILD noting that the session was mainly focused on fitness exercises.
As things stand, Bayern Munich expect Musiala to make his comeback against Magdeburg in the DFB Pokal on Wednesday, 28 October.
However, if Vincent Kompany feels they can manage without Musiala, the next game with Borussia Dortmund may be more realistic.
(Update 16:53 CET): Sky Germany has also confirmed that along with Arsenal, Musiala may even miss next Sunday’s game with SC Freiburg.
As for Manuel Neuer, who sat out Bayern’s 6-1 win over RB Leipzig on Saturday with a foot injury, resumed team training today.
The captain trained for just under 40 minutes and then went into the dressing room with the players who had started against Leipzig.
Neuer’s foot will be assessed again to see how it reacts the workload and if no fluid builds up, Neuer will likely face Arsenal on Wednesday.
