The 47-year-old has hinted that he would like to remain with the Bavarian club as rumours of a contract extension circulate.

Miroslav Klose appears destined to remain with 1.FC Nürnberg beyond the summer, according to sources at Sport BILD.
The head coach of the Bavarian club who are currently tenth place in the 2.Bundesliga is on the verge of extending his contract until 2028.
After a Nürnberg training session earlier this afternoon, Klose hinted at his decision which suggested he is set to remain at the club.
“I didn’t come here for nothing, but things have to keep improving. I haven’t always had that feeling. I want to build something here for the long term.
“It’s taken a long time, but now I have the feeling that everyone is pulling in the same direction,” explained the 47-year-old.
Recently, Klose expressed his frustration with Nürnberg’s transfer policy, but was persuaded by chairman Peter Meier to continue together.
Meanwhile, Nürnberg sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou, who is also expected to extend his contract until 2028.
