Bayern Munich’s negotiations with Jamal Musiala over a new contract beyond 2026 have attracted a lot of attention in recent months.
The 21-year-old, however, doesn’t want to be influenced by the speculation and says he will use the winter break to reflect on his future.
“It’s important for me to stay fit and perform well until I have a bit of time to relax. Then I can take my time and think about everything. I think we’ll know more during the winter break,” Musiala told Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland.
“At the moment I’m concentrating on the games with the national team and FC Bayern. I know a lot of people are looking at my situation, but I’m trying to put as little pressure on myself as possible.”
Musiala and Germany face Bosnia-Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League in Freiburg on Saturday.
