Unai Simón: Disappointed against Japan. Came up with a big save on Musiala in the second half against Germany and denied Sané. 6

César Azpilicueta: Provided the cross for Morata’s goal against Japan. 5

Dani Carvajal: Gave away possession under pressure and failed to influence going forward. 4

Rodri: Composed at centre-back, which is not his natural position, but where Luis Enrique played him. 7

Jordi Alba: Was excellent against Costa Rica and assisted Morata against Germany but more was expected against Morocco. 6

Dani Olmo: Excellent against Costa Rica. Offered little in the last 16 clash. 6

Pablo Sarabia: Missed a penalty and hit the post before the penalty shootout. Only played two minutes. N/A

Álvaro Morata: Didn’t play as much as he would have wanted to but scored three goals for La Roja. 7

Marco Asensio: Played well against Costa Rica in the 7-0 victory. 6

Nico Williams: Added pace and energy down the right but offered little end product. 5
