Images, highlighting the reaction of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé to teammate Andriy Lunin’s moment of brilliance versus Osasuna has come to the fore online.
Real, of course, are fresh off a dominant return to winning ways on Saturday.
After welcoming Osasuna to Spain’s capital, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops ran riot, en route to an eventual 4-0 triumph.
And conjuring up arguably the moment of the clash was the aforementioned Andriy Lunin.
After spotting Vinícius Jr. surging into the opposing half on the break, goalkeeper Lunin set the Brazilian free, courtesy of a brilliant long-range pass.
Vinícius, from here, kicked on to add his 2nd goal of a brilliant hat-trick.
And one teammate who was quick to make clear his appreciation for such excellence on the part of Real’s stand-in shot-stopper was the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé.
Frontman Mbappé was heavily criticised on Saturday, having looked less than thrilled with Los Blancos’ triumph, amid another difficult afternoon from an individual standpoint.
What was widely overlooked, though, was the reaction of the summer arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu to Lunin’s rare assist, showcased below:
