As the 37th round of Ligue 1 approaches, Paris Saint-Germain are poised to claim their 11th French championship, securing their second consecutive title and their ninth since Qatari Sports Investments (QSI) took over the club. Additionally, a title victory would make them the most successful club in the history of Ligue 1, surpassing Saint-Étienne’s record of 10 titles.
But will PSG seal the deal this Saturday? With a six-point lead over second-placed Lens, PSG can secure the title by avoiding defeat against Strasbourg or by relying on a slip-up from Lens, who face Ajaccio.
PSG will be crowned champions this Saturday if they win against Strasbourg. They will also win the league if they draw against Les Bleu et Blanc, and in the case that Lens fail to win against Ajaccio.
If Les Parisiens lose against Strasbourg and Lens win against Ajaccio, then promotion will have to be sealed at home to Clermont next Saturday.
