Jonas Hofmann has committed himself to Borussia Mönchengladbach by signing a contract extension.
The German international’s deal, which was due to expire next summer, has been extended until 2025.
“Jonas has become one of the faces of the team during his six and a half years with us,” commented Gladbach sporting director Roland Virkus.
“He has undergone a tremendous development here – first to become a regular starter and a leader for us, and then also cementing himself within the Germany national team. We are very happy that we have been able to convince Jonas to remain at Borussia,” added the Gladbach boss.
In total, Hofmann has featured 182 times for ‘Die Fohlen’, racking up 36 goals and 40 assists.
