TSG Hoffenheim have been linked with a swoop for the FC Basel star.
Sky Germany journalists Patrick Berger and Florian Plettenberg believe Leon Avdullahu is now close to a move to TSG Hoffenheim.
It is reported that the Sinsheim club will cough up €8million plus add-ons for the 21-year-old midfielder from FC Basel.
However, nothing has been announced yet regarding the deal and a medical is still pending for the youngster.
Since signing from his boyhood club FC Solothurn in 2018, Avdullahu has progressed through Basel’s academy to make 41 senior appearances.
The Swiss U-21 international is known for his tenacity in defence and high pass success rate of 90.2% across the 2024-25 campaign.
