Hoffenheim could still be open to selling left-back David Raum this summer despite recently extending his contract, according to Sport1.
Raum extended his contract with Hoffenheim in January which would see him stay at the club until 2026. At the time, Hoffenheim looked set to achieve a European place but ultimately missed out.
In a recent interview with Sport1, the German international said: “Of course I would have liked to play internationally with Hoffenheim. That unfortunately did not work. It’s still a dream for me.”
It’s reported that Hoffenheim would be open to talks if the transfer fee for Raum was appropriate. Borussia Dortmund are perhaps the club which have mostly been linked with the defender.
BVB are in the market for a left-back and they are willing to part with current defenders Nico Schulz and Raphaël Guerreiro.
