Sebastian Hoeness has become the latest coach to turn down interest from VfB Stuttgart, according to Sky Germany.
Hoeness has been seen as one of the top candidates to replace the recently sacked Pellegrino Matarazzo as Stuttgart coach and also had great interest in the vacant position, per the report.

However, the 40-year-old former Hoffenheim coach has reportedly now informed ‘Die Schwaben’ that he’s no longer available after internal disagreements at Stuttgart slowed down talks.

Bild reported this morning that Stuttgart chairman Alexander Wehrle and sporting director Sven Mislintat are in disagreement over whether the club should appoint a short-term or long-term solution, with the latter apparently preferring to hire a long-term coach.

Bayern assistant Dino Toppmöller and Szolt Löw, who last worked as an assistant for Thomas Tuchel, are also said to have rejected Stuttgart’s advances.
