Hertha BSC have sent Santiago Ascacibar out on loan to Italian side US Cremonese for the 2022/23 season.
The Argentine midfielder’s loan deal includes an option to buy.
“Santi already reached out to us in the winter break about his wishes to take on a new challenge,” said Hertha managing director for sport Fredi Bobic.
“The way he dug in for the club and for the team in the second half of last season following his decision is testament to his character. We have now agreed to Santi’s request and wish him all the best for the future both on and off the pitch.”
