Sky Germany report that Hertha Berlin have rejected an offer from KAA Gent for defender Jordan Torunarigha.
The offer is reported to be around €2 million plus bonuses but Hertha want around €5m for the 24-year-old central-defender.
Two clubs have also shown an interest in Torunarigha. Per Florian Plettenberg, West Ham United and Wolfsburg have enquired about the German but a change within the Bundesliga is more likely.
Torunarigha has spent the last six months on loan at Gent, playing 10 league games and also featuring in the Europa Conference League, where the Belgian side were eliminated by PAOK.
Since coming through the youth ranks, Torunarigha has played 81 games in all competitions for Hertha.
Appointed as interim head coach, Felix Magath secured Hertha’s Bundesliga status against Hamburg in the playoff but has since been replaced by Sandro Schwarz, who has the tough task of rebuilding the capital club.
