La Liga giants Barcelona have this weekend been tipped to secure the signature of Kerem Aktürkoğlu.
Aktürkoğlu, for those not familiar with his name, is a 26-year-old Turkish international, who is currently plying his club trade in Portugal with Benfica.
The attacker, who generally operates on the left wing, made the move to Lisbon during the summer, and his since gone on to enjoy a scintillating start to life in his new home.
All told, in 17 appearances across all competitions to date, Aktürkoğlu has racked up 16 direct goal contributions.
And such exploits, it would appear, have begun to pique the attentions of the powers that be at the aforementioned Barcelona.
The Blaugrana are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements out wide with a view to next season.
And, according to Turkish football insider Yasin Oztekin, Aktürkoğlu finds himself front and centre on the agenda at the Camp Nou.
In quotes gathered by Diario Sport, Oztekin, after first assuring that contacts have already been initiated on the part of Deco and co, went on to explain:
“I think Akturkoglu will play next season at Barça.”
