Marcel Lotka hasn’t made a single first-team appearance for Borussia Dortmund since joining on a free transfer from Hertha BSC in 2022.
Now, with six months remaining on his contract, the goalkeeper could be heading for the exit door.
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Heidenheim see 23-year-old Lotka as a possible replacement for Kevin Müller, who could leave Voith-Arena when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The report claims that Heidenheim have already contacted Lotka and his agent and made an initial offer for him.
Lotka could make the switch to Heidenheim as early as January, as that will be Dortmund’s last chance to cash in on him.
Lotka has made 14 appearances for Borussia Dortmund’s reserves this season.
