VfL Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac has revealed that Patrick Wimmer will miss his side’s clash with Schalke 04 this Saturday.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference today, Kovac told reporters that the young attacker sustained a head injury in training yesterday.
“Patrick was not there today. We had a training session yesterday, and there was a collision. After that he didn’t feel well. That’s why he couldn’t train today. He will certainly not be ready for the weekend,” said Kovac.
Wimmer joined Wolfsburg from Arminia Bielefeld ahead of this season.
