Harry Kane rejects Bayern Munich, only wants Man Utd move

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has rejected the chance to join Bayern Munich this summer, according to Bild.

The Walthamstow-born attacker does not want to move to Germany and only wants to stay in England. The 29-year-old reportedly has his heart set on Manchester United.

Kane is even ready to stay at Tottenham for one more season to see out his contract and walk away for free if they don’t let him join United this summer.

Kane is contemplating leaving Spurs after another season without trophies. He wants a chance for silverware, but he is not looking outside England.

Kane is chasing Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record of 260. His brace in the final league game of the season against Leeds United means he is only 48 away from the haul.

Kane wants his move to United. That is where he wants to ply his trade next season. Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are out of the picture.

Also, United want the striker too. Man Utd head coach Erik ten Hag is a fan of the centre-forward and has told the club to get him.

United need a centre-forward, with Wout Weghorst set to return to Burnley after an uneventful spell with the Mancs.

Anthony Martial continues his battle with niggling injuries that have blighted his consistency, preventing him from picking form.

Signing a striker is a priority heading into the summer transfer window. They have their eyes on one of the best in the league.

However, United will be wary of negotiations with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. The British businessman ideally does not want to sell Kane to a Premier League rival.

Furthermore, the player’s price tag may be an issue with Levy preparing to demand over £100 million.

There have also been rumours of Chelsea’s interest, but the Blues will not be able to take him from Levy.

Manchester City tried to sign him before, but they are stacked in the position now.

It is unclear where Kane’s immediate future lies, but it likely won’t be in Germany.
