Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an update on the wellbeing of attacking starlet Lamine Yamal.
This comes after Lamine set pulses racing across the Blaugrana fanbase late in the club’s latest outing.
Barcelona were of course back in action a short time ago, welcoming Borussia Dortmund to Catalunya’s capital for a Champions League clash.
When all was said and done, the former ran riot, to the tune of an eventual 4-0 triumph.
Amongst the goals on the evening was the aforementioned Lamine Yamal, who rounded out the scoring at Montjuïc courtesy of a fine left-footed finish.
As the matchup entered its closing stages, it therefore came as a source of concern for all of a Barca persuasion upon the club’s wing sensation requesting a substitution.
As much culminated in fears surrounding a potential injury for Lamine.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, the subject of the 17-year-old’s wellbeing was in turn quickly put to boss Hansi Flick.
And the German went on to assure:
“Lamine Yamal has no injury, he’s fine. He’s played a lot of minutes recently and so it was good to rest a bit.”
